Complete 401K (C401K)

We help plan sponsors protect themselves from liability by understanding and managing their fiduciary responsibility while enhancing the overall value of the retirement plan for all participants.

Complete 401K was established to help companies make informed decisions when setting up their retirement plans or managing their current retirement plans. Without experienced knowledgeable advice, a company may not be upholding their fiduciary responsibility to their employees and may not have the appropriate investment options available in their plan.

Today, the complexity of 401(k) plans has never been greater. Since the enactment of The Pension Protection Act (2006) and ERISA (The Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974), there have been more than a dozen major pieces of legislation that impact retirement plans. It’s difficult and time intensive for even the most diligent company to keep on top of what these laws require.

As a 401(k) plan sponsor and administrator, you are held to higher standards when selecting retirement benefits and investment options for your employees. You have a responsibility to know and comply with all retirement plan rules and regulations, and a moral obligation to make the most appropriate choices for your employees. After all, your employees are relying on you to help them build a solid foundation for their retirement.

Once a plan is launched, there may be situations that you may want to avoid and many ongoing responsibilities to carry out. In addition to the everyday plan administration, you’ll need to keep abreast of new legislation and ensure the plan is continually performing and meeting the employees’ needs.

Neither Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc. (TFA) nor its representatives provide legal, tax, ERISA, PPA or accounting advice. Persons who provide such advice do so in a capacity other than as a registered representative of TFA.
